OG Bowling ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our bowling score tracking application.

Information We Collect

OG Bowling is designed with privacy in mind. All data you create within the app is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.

Data stored locally on your device includes:

• Bowling game scores and statistics
• Session information (bowling center names, lane numbers, oil patterns, dates)
• Bowling ball arsenal information (ball names, weights, surface types)
• Achievements and progress tracking
• Game notes and comments (Pro feature)
• App preferences and settings
• Pro upgrade purchase status

How We Use Your Information

All data collected by the app is used solely to provide the bowling tracking and statistics features. Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• We do not have access to your bowling scores, statistics, or any other app data
• Your data is not shared with third parties
• Your data is not used for advertising or marketing purposes
• Your data is not transmitted over the internet

Third-Party Services

OG Bowling uses the following Apple services:

• Apple In-App Purchase: Used to process the Pro upgrade purchase ($4.99). Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of payment information. We do not have access to your payment details.
• StoreKit: Used to verify and restore Pro upgrade purchases across devices.

No other third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools are used in this app.

Data Storage and Security

All app data is stored locally on your device using:

• iOS secure storage (AsyncStorage and SQLite database)
• App sandbox with standard iOS security protections
• No cloud synchronization or remote backup

Your data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We recommend keeping your device secure to protect your data.

Data Backup and Restore

The app provides a local backup feature that allows you to:

• Export your data to a compressed file on your device
• Import data from backup files or PinPal format
• Transfer data between devices manually

Backup files remain on your device or in locations you choose (iCloud Drive, Files app). We do not have access to your backup files.

Data Retention and Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Keep your data: Data remains on your device as long as the app is installed
• Delete specific data: Use the app's delete features to remove individual games, sessions, or balls
• Delete all data: Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data

Once data is deleted from your device, it cannot be recovered unless you have created a backup file.

Children's Privacy

OG Bowling does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or any users. The app is designed for general audiences and can be safely used by bowlers of all ages. All data remains on the user's device.

Required Reason API Usage

In compliance with Apple's privacy requirements, the app uses the following Required Reason APIs:

• File Timestamp API (C617.1): Used to display when games and sessions were created or modified
• UserDefaults API (CA92.1): Used to store app preferences and Pro upgrade status
• System Boot Time API (35F9.1): Used by React Native framework for performance monitoring

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: View all your data within the app at any time
• Modify: Edit or update your bowling data, sessions, and ball information
• Delete: Remove any or all data through the app or by uninstalling
• Export: Create backup files to transfer or archive your data

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

California Privacy Rights

Under California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. However, since OG Bowling does not collect, share, or sell personal information, these provisions do not apply to our app's operation.

International Users

OG Bowling can be used worldwide. All data remains on your local device regardless of your location. No data is transferred internationally because no data is transmitted from the app.
